My son's friend suggested that the name Kaiti Hill is short for 'Kaitiaki' and that we are meant to look after it, and pick up our rubbish. I think this is such a beautiful idea for Maunga Titirangi as Kaitiaki means 'guardian'. Clever thinking for a 7 year old. It sits next to 'Kaiti Hill', suggested that that is where we go to fly kites!
Another great idea which naturally has translated for me into paintings.
